We were so lucky to have the support of Philips to make an amazing show-stopper of a website. The orchestra behind the website, the Metropole Orkest, had no idea what they were in for. When they came in for that first preview, the amazement was written on their faces. They didn't know something like this could be done .. funny thing was .. neither did we!
The project allows the user to breakdown the experience of listening to an orchestra in detail. From visualisations of each instrument to singling out each artist's audio with individual musical statistics.
There were many complexities to this project from translating the audio to keynotes, and clever loading and buffering processes to ensure content was loaded in time to be ready for play.
I took over late in the project with much of the heavy lifting already done by Philip Bulley and Audio integration by Dan Beattie. I'm ecstatic to be part of it!
I'm currently working on another project with Phil at Stink Digital .. so keep an eye out for that.
